Primetime Pruning is led by owner, Kyle Grayson. Kyle started working in the Green Industry in 2009 as a Tree Technician working for a local Boise company. Wanting more of a challenge and to get away from chemicals all together, Kyle came across a YouTube video and from that day forward he knew he wanted to be an arborist. Kyle started Primetime Pruning in 2016 just 3 short months upon graduating from Tree Climbers International in Atlanta, GA. A few short stints working for other local tree companies Kyle new he didn’t want to waste any more time and started his own business with nothing more than a small truck, a small trailer, some ropes, a chainsaw from the pawn shop and pruning gear from the Idaho Youth Ranch.
“We started small” according to Kyle, “we looked where there was a need and focused on the things we could do and not the things we couldn’t. Knowing nothing about business we started combing through subdivisions looking for neglected trees that we could tackle only from the ground, and each job we focused on adding as much value to the customer as possible. This approach along with lots of self study allowed us to master our own style with zero danger involved. We saved our money and invested in climbing equipment so we could start tackling bigger and more technical jobs.”
